Susan has extensive product development, management and marketing research experience. Her first degree was environmental science, the second technology. As Technical Account Manager Asia Pacific for IBM she was a problem solver and translator, listening to client’s business pain and turning that into geek speak. As Information Production Systems (IPS) Director at Lieberman Research Worldwide (LRW), she helped the organisation embrace the 21st century. They are now leaders in XR research with long term clients like Disney.
Born in Fiji, growing up in the tropics, Susan always loved nature. Her father used to call her a tree hugging hippy. Her love of fashion began when small. watching Mum and Dad dress for the ball. Mum-made clothes where the norm when she was young. Disgusted by fast fashion, the pollution, lack of decent wages and conditions, Susan wondered how to disrupt and transform the take, make and dispose mentality? How to help protect makers? Susan had an epiphany and Meyd.it was born. Now she helps people and planet, one dress at a time.
